Intimacy Coordinator

Queensland based Intimacy Coordinator, Kate was announced as 1 of 8 Australian Intimacy scholarship winners through Screen Queensland, Screen Australia and MEAA.

Kate extensively studied under leading organisation Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC) in the US lead by Alicia Rodis. Alicia pioneered the role of intimacy coordinator in the US and serves as IC for HBO Studios. Kate is one of a a small pool of fully accredited Australian Intimacy Coordinators and listed on the SAG-AFTRA Intimacy Registry.

Kate is very passionate about creating safe work environments for creatives and crew on set and on stage. This work along side Kates 20+ years of experience in movement and choreography in all genres blends together to create best practices in intimate performance work.

Kate holds a certification as an Intimacy Coordinator for TV & Film and Intimacy Director for Stage as well as her Mental Health First Aid, Blue Card and Safe Sets International certificates.
